Venkatesh is on cloud nine as his new film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has been declared a mega blockbuster at the box office and has grossed Rs 200 crores.

Well, speaking in an interview, Venky openly admitted that he was confident that the film would do well but never estimated that it would make Rs 200 crores.

“The numbers coming in have shocked me big time. I have seen hits and blockbusters but this success is something else and comes to me at a time when I needed it the most” says Venkatesh.

Anil Ravipudi is the man behind the film and he needs to be credited for the film’s success as he narrated the film in such a way that right from kids to older generation, everyone loved the film big time.
