Allari Naresh is coming up with yet another unique film, Bachhala Malli. He will appear in a never-before-seen avatar in this rustic action drama directed by Subbu Mangadevvi of Solo Brathuke So Better fame. Amritha Aiyer played the female lead. Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta produced Bachhala Malli under the banner of Hasya Movies. Ahead of the film’s release this Friday, Allari Naresh interacted with the media, and here is the transcript.
Which elements of the story impressed you?
I gave my nod to director Subbu in a single sitting. It’s an extraordinary story. My character in Bachhala Malli has the most number of variations compared to my previous films. Except for comedy, the film has all the elements. After Naandhi, I decided to do different films. When I was looking for good content, this story came my way.
Tell us about your character in the film.
My character in Bachhala Malli will be talked about for 10 years. It will have the same impact as Gaali Seenu in Gamyam. I came out of my comfort zone for Bachhala Malli. The director designed this character based on his personal experiences. You can see Bachhala Malli in every person. Sometimes, we make decisions in a foolish manner. People will relate to my role, and the film has an underlying message.
What is the most challenging part for you in Bachhala Malli?
My character will behave foolishly, as I said earlier. My director wanted to walk me in a certain way that depicts Bachhala Malli’s recklessness. Even the way this character cries should appear in a different manner. We tried to bring uniqueness to every aspect. My body language will be totally different from my earlier films.
How important is the love track to this film?
A girl named Kaveri enters Bachhala Malli’s life, after which he changes completely. But the mistakes that he committed earlier will keep coming back to him. What he does finally needs to be seen on the big screens. Amritha Aiyer gave a settled performance and will get good applause for her portrayal. The characters played by Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Viva Harsha, Hari Teja, and Rohini are also vital.
What are the highlight episodes in Bachhala Malli?
The pre-climax is the best part of Bachhala Malli. The film will have a back-and-forth screenplay and will have two timelines. We told a simple story in a sincere manner. The father and son emotion came out very well. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music enhanced the impact of emotional sequences.
